Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis in Missouri. She performed with The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia conferred her with an undergraduate degree in Theater and Communications. Following her move from Missouri to Los Angeles, she became active in the theater arts and started acting in and choreographing for over two dozen musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch at Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera and 7 title roles in LA's award-winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly started landing TV and film roles as she continued to study the art of improvisation in the group The Groundlings. She also was a part of Theatre West. A unique combination of her voice and her petite stature allowed Kelly to create many different characters. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's evil Samara in The Ring 2, but her most famous role was as the cheerful receptionist in Two and a Half Men. Between 2011 and 2015, Kelly worked as a paralegal in the daytime and a party hopper at-night as a Series regular for the TV Land comedy The Exes. She was also a Regular as the sassy, sexpert baby sister of Alyssa Milano in ABC's Romantically Challenged as well as the suburban mom who was stressed in the The CW's No Tomorrow. Her fame is based on her soprano vocals in many cartoons. This includes the cult show Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry Sofia the First. Recently, she was in the role of the slow but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's hit comedy Superstore. The couple has two children and lives in a quiet house. She enjoys writing as well as sew, and she also volunteers in the schools.
