Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985 New York City New York) is well-known for her abilities to perform across genres ranging from period dramas to thrillers to action-packed films. Johansson was the child of a film director as well as an architect. Her family was based in New York City. The twin brothers Hunter and she were among the youngest of siblings. Her interest began in acting at an early age and was auditioning for commercials before age seven. The passion for acting developed quickly, and she was soon after at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. At the age of eight old, she starred with Ethan Hawke as Sophistry in an Off-Broadway show. When she was nine her debut film was Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson was later seen as a character in Just Cause (1995), but her first break was through Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters running away. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was an teen with a defect due to an accident garnered an acclaim from critics. In Ghost World 2001 (as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca) Johansson was awarded an even greater amount of attention. Her fame was based on her portrayal of Nell Jones on the CBS popular show NCIS Los Angeles. She has won awards for her performance and was among the principal actors on the show. Apart from her work in the show, she has also been an actor on stage for several years. The actress gave spectacular performances, including Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a teenager when she first began her professional career as an entertainer. At the age of a young girl, she discovered her passion for performing. With the support from her parents, Smith landed her first role in the acting world when she was just six. Smith was in the Dannon TV commercial. Like many actresses who are new, she chose to develop her talents in the theatre. In addition, she worked on other initiatives across the USA and Canada, but Wildflower was her first stage performance. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
